This partnership with the Nourish to Flourish Studio, housed in Arizona State University’s College of Health Solutions, is supported by the Kern Family Foundation as part of a larger initiative to apply ASU’s framework for Principled Innovation—the ability to imagine new concepts, catalyze ideas and form new solutions guided by principles that create positive change for humanity—to public engagement programs on nutrition and food systems.

How can science centers and museums get involved?
Over the next 5 years, ASTC and ASU will support cohorts of science centers and museums to develop efforts that provide opportunities for their communities and visitors to learn more about nutrition and food systems and relate these ideas to their own lives and their community’s wellbeing. Cohort members will contribute to collaborative research that helps us understand promising approaches to promoting action for human and planetary health and will participate in an ASU-led community of practice that connects researchers and practitioners across sectors.
